Parag Shah

Parag Shah is the CEO and Founding Managing Director of K2 HealthVentures, an alternative investment firm providing long-term, flexible financing to life sciences and healthcare companies. K2 also donates a portion of its profits to underserved areas in healthcare.

Before founding K2, Parag was Senior Managing Director at Hercules Capital, where he led its public offering and oversaw over $2B in investments. He also held leadership roles at Comerica, Imperial Bank, and BankBoston. Parag earned a B.S. in Molecular Biology and an M.S. in Environmental Policy & Planning from MIT, where he conducted research at the Whitehead Institute.
